this is from last year. she is so clean in this picture. she is filthy dirty right now, she has a ring of scuzz around her neck. i wish that i could bring her with me to work every day. or at least that i could get home and back on my lunch break so we could hang out a little bit. She's growing up so fast, discovering her independence, making her own decisions. i'm worried.

I can't believe how much i am loving sonic youth again. I think it makes me feel young.

Someone at work was such a dick today, i wanted to really stick something sharp into his eyeball. urgh. So glad that it's almost Friday . And this Friday is followed by a rare planless weekend... i'm so excited!!! I will mow the lawn and play with my best dog friend. YAY!!!

I am also excited because i think i will hang out with fellow poster (and brother) Aaron tomorrow. He and i will probably draw up some plans and set some goals and talk about our accomplishments as bloggers. He may show up with a power point presentation and a slide show. I will totally show up unprepared. without even a pen or paper. it's going to be awesome.

Here's the bridle trail. If you sit still for a long time, you can sometimes catch the elusive miniature pony that has carved this trail with it's own little blood, sweat, and tears.

i am the random gardener.

the yard remains a disaster no matter how much time i spend there. today i haphazardly cut down a nine foot tall shrub. it has probably been here since the house was built. once i cut it into bits of assorted sizes with various gardening tools, i realized that i have no way of disposing of it. then i decided to rest for a while and i feel asleep in a lawn chair reading a book. At this time, the yard continues to bear the mark of the Random Gardener. And it wears the mark with pride.

They were training these drug dogs at the airport. the police would plant a package under someone's seat and then the drug dog would come through and try to find it. i was wondering if any of my fellow passengers were freaking out!
