Bored and Boring

i am both bored and boring at the same time. i am bathing in boredom.
lois is falling asleep staring at my boring activities.

i am in need of something fun to do.

i engaged in some random gardening over the weekend. i accidentally made a trap for Lois to fall into in her "Business" garden. I dug a hole (transplanting a plant) and covered it with some leaves and other debris, and then she fell in it. it was both sad and funny.

i also had a fling at some guerrilla housekeeping. i scraped the paint off the ceiling in my shower and then decided that finishing the job would be way to over the top. i'll get to it. eventually. i supposed that in my boredom i could go over there and pick up that paint brush and slap a coat on the ceiling, but then what would i have to complain about?

Mr. Wiley has been reading a biography of Merv Griffin. It seems that John is both in love and in hate with the game show mogul. Tonight, John and I both learned of Merv's questionable sexuality and i guess it took us both by surprise....
