Passive Aggressive Tuesday Night Dinner

Each and every week I eat dinner with my parents and my grandpa. My grandma eats with us too, but she sits in her room.
We eat, we have ice cream, and we chit chat.

My Tuesday night family dinner was funny last night. We had chicken and rice and green beans. My grandpa has a good sense of humor and i like to talk with him. I talked to him about his government sponsored healthcare and I learned some things about his perscription plan and stuff. I did not know that there was a limit on how much medication medicare will cover. Sometimes my grandpa brings me various articles of clothing from his inventory (he used to sell clothes and home furnishings) and last night he brought me the most funny 80's sweater. heehee.

Dinners on Tuesdays are very often full of my father's ranting and raving about the government, close study of various newspaper headlines, and his own personal UFO sightings. And last night was no different. we discussed my father's rage about a certain local hospital's fleet of air craft (???) and his anger at a certain local school district for building a parking lot. My father believes that there was another UFO in the woods last Thursday .

Last night we all tried to describe the "passive aggressive traits" and none of us could adequately do so.

"The Anatomy Of Passive Aggression
Passive-Aggression is a psychological mechanism for handling hostility or anger in an underhanded or devious way that is hard for others to prove. Sometimes the passive-aggressive is aware of what he or she is doing, and other times not.
Yet, the result is the same-things are sabotaged by the passive-aggressive and it somehow is never their fault. A really good passive aggressive is very slippery with excuses, justifications, or alternative reasons for why things go awry. Passive-Aggression may not be expressed directly in behavior-but in words or humor. Sarcasm which communicates hostility is often a tool of the passive-aggressive person, as are jokes made at your expense."

the above info was stolen by me from some random website.

i work with someone that is very passive aggressive and it drives me up a wall. i have a hard time to describe the behavior, it's like he is so mean in a underhanded and mysterious way that you could not confront him on without looking like a wimp or a baby.
