When i brush the Lois, i leave the hair out in the backyard. That may be considered unsanitary, but it is my lame attempt at recycling. I noticed that various neighborhood birds were swooping into the yard and making off with the hair.
Today when i was random gardening, i happened upon this abandoned nest.
When i peeked inside, to my delight, i saw that the nest was lined with a layer of white fur! Lois' white fur!
It made me so happy to think of the baby birds that started their little lives wrapped in the warmth of Lois' love.
