It's almost our birthday!

today, in an early celebration, i ate more than my share of the most wonderful brownies. yum!

too bad that i now have a stomach ache :(

Halo is looking forward to turning 5 this year and i am looking forward to celebrating the big 3-oh.

i have been taking a break from animaling. I am starting to train Rachel in the art of animaling. She started on Sunday and i must say that she is doing fantastic!

i have been experimenting with embroidery and stuff. i made john wiley a hand sewn and embroidered felt book mark that says "Puck" (puck is the miniature pincher in my life)

Last weekend i journeyed south to the imax movie theatre in columbus. with mitchy, frank, and john wiley. we saw avatar in 3-d. it was super cool, but not my favorite kind of story. i'm not big on explosions, guns, aliens, sigourney weaver, etc.

also, whilst there, we visited this delicious ice cream parlour. http://jenisicecreams.com/

OMG! the best ice cream that i have ever had. They have very unique flavors that are all so good!!!

we also visited a german sausage haus. it was only ok.

i want to go on a big trip somewhere really far away and i am seriously considering a week in alaska. or maybe washington state. i want to be somewhere where there is tons of snow so that cleveland does not seem so bad :)

also on today's docket is that i was awarded Employee of the Year at work in december. That's a pretty big honor and i must agree that i deserved it. i'm glad that employee of the year is not based on fish tank preservation and cleaning, because the aquatic center is empty and i basically murdered the last fish. I have packed it away for Spring time, when i will reopen with new fish. and maybe this time the fish will be made of plastic so that they won't have to rely on me as their keeper.
